Road Block

Don't you love when you plan for something in the future and all the details are worked out? When everything seems to be on the right track? When you think you have everything figured out?....

Then....BAM.
ROAD BLOCK!

A snag in the plan....something comes up and throws off everything. It changes your way of thinking. And you suddenly don't know exactly what the future holds.

That is where I am in my life at this moment and time.
So, Yes....I am having a "senior moment". It happens to all of us, right?

This summer, I thought I had my whole future after college figured out.
Working as a reporter....
Living in NYC....
Working for a big network...
Basically living my lifelong dream.

My road block came up when I began my "Media Sales" course this semester.
The first day of class....I was sold (no pun intended).

Never has "media sales" popped into my brain as a potential career...Until now.
I enjoy reading for class...and I have even found myself reading ahead...
Thats when I knew my passion for it was real.

So..........What does this mean?
It means I don't know what I want to do with my future and career path.
And that statement makes me stressed.
I love to plan ahead, and stick to plans.
So this is throwing me for a loop.
For now...I try to relax and take a deep breath.
I stay positive.
I know I am in the right field.... I just need to pinpoint what it is I will succeed at.
I still have a whole semester and a half to figure it all out, right?

Happy Thursday :)

Life is Good

Happy Tuesday!

This picture describes exactly how I am feeling on this September morning.

It's a gameday weekend.
Fall is approaching.
and the Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks.

After a long and relaxing weekend at home for Labor Day... soaking up the last rays of summer...it feels good to be back at school and preparing (mentally) for the exciting week (and especially the weekend) ahead.

So I am going to sit here and enjoy my new carmel drizzle latte by my baby Keurig I recently purchased this weekend.

Life is good.
